"THE NORTHERN SAGAS" (2004)
This is Chuck's most recent recording. The songs reflect some of his finest work in collecting and creating songs based on history, legend and love for Atlantic Canada. The CD includes performances by J.P.Cormier and Vance Gilbert, and tell the stories of the Halifax disaster, a moving account of the life of Mary March, a cautionary tale of a young woman who danced with the Devil and a pirate who found a home and love in an unexpectedly beautiful Cape Breton harbor. One of Chuck's best known songs, "Angels", is also found in this collection.

Chuck's first CD - and first recording of any kind in many years - is a testment to the things both human and divine that he most believes in - from "Love Comes To The Simple Heart", a contemplation of the mystery of Love, to "Old Friends", very much a contemplation of love between friends, to "A Single Drop Of Rain", a reflection on the great power of very ordinary things to teach us extraordinary lessons. Taylor and Jake Armerding are featured on this CD, as are Barbara Kessler, Rob Laurens and many others.
