THE HALLFOLK PODCAST BROADCAST
I had a career in broadcasting some time ago. Most notably, I suppose, I had shows on both WUMB-FM in Boston and WADN-AM in Concord, Massachusetts, then known affectionately as "Walden 1120". It was a great way to combine my love for media and my life as a musician. Beyond all that, it was great fun for a number of years. Sadly, these things come to an end, and life moves you along to other things. I never lost my love for radio, but the radio biz was quite another story. And then along came the internet, and with it, podcasting, which I could do from my home. It was radio without the radio biz. Hallelujah!
And so was born the HALLFOLK PODCAST BROADCAST. There are about thirty episodes, so far, and among them are a series of interviews I did with some of my folk music friends. Who knows what direction they will go in now? But there are also occasional new episodes of the podcast, and I hope you enjoy them.
